We are recruiting: Administration Officer

Luminus, home of Healthwatch Surrey, are looking for a proactive, self-motivated administrator with excellent attention to detail to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our friendly and supportive team, providing administrative support to the Chief Executive, Chief Operating Officer and the wider Luminus team. 

Main duties include:

  • Providing administrative support to the management team, including diary management, setting up meetings and helping with papers and briefings for meetings that need to be prepared for.
  • Providing administrative support for key team meetings; finding dates, booking rooms, circulating papers and taking minutes.  
  • Supporting the Operations Manager to oversee office maintenance, upkeep of office equipment and supplies as appropriate.
  • Providing support to the Operations Manager in the administration required for Public Board meetings.
  • Supporting with the regular updates of policies and procedures (including data protection; filing, retention and destruction of documents).
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider Luminus team, including processing expenses, DBS checks and reference checking. 
  • Providing Helpdesk support, answering the phone and message taking when required. 

You will need to be experienced in admin support; self-motivated; organised; excellent at prioritising a busy workload; have good attention to detail and have an interest in contributing to improving health and social care services in Surrey.

This role is a 25 hours per week permanent contract. Annual salary is £27,500.00 FTE (£18,333.00 pro rata).
