The report looks at how our information and signposting service helped local residents, how we delivered on our 4 thematic priorities (primary care, mental health, social care and the involvement of people), how we made a difference at a system level and ways in which we involved local people in health and social care between April and June 2024.

This quarter:

  • 74 People supported through our Helpdesk
  • 30 People supported by our Independent Health Complaints Advocacy service
  • 16 Community engagement events
  • 124 People helped and supported whilst on engagement in the community
  • 5 Reports published (we were unable to publish reports during pre-election periods of local and general elections)
  • 374 Hours provided by our volunteers

Our report further highlights our impact in relation to:

  • Access to primary care
  • Improving information on complaints procedures
  • Ensuring the voices of those in Guildford and Waverley are heard
  • Helping to shape quality appraisals
  • Ensuring quality accounts meet the needs of those they’re written for
  • Helping men to open up about their health
  • Empowering our volunteers to make a difference.
