Your feedback helps with national changes – #ShareForBetterCare week
Your feedback also helps with national changes – we interviewed local women with a learning disability and women from minoritised ethnic backgrounds about their experiences of cervical cancer screening. This fed into a national report by Healthwatch England, looking at women’s experiences of cervical screening. The report unpicked why some women are hesitant to go for screening and made recommendations to policymakers on how to improve uptake. In November we were pleased to learn that NHS England’s new “ping and book” service will support 1 of the report recommendations – that access to cervical screening be improved with a variety of invitation reminder and booking methods, including the NHS App.
