This Student Volunteer Week, Amr explains why he volunteers

Amr explains:

“I signed up for Healthwatch Surrey to make a difference in the community I study within. As someone eager to meet new faces, I found Healthwatch Surrey a new avenue for connection. I am now part of a selfless operation dedicated to improving health and social care, and quality of life, for everyday people. I particularly appreciate their flexibility, allowing me to express my interest in presenting as a volunteer. I have found my time volunteering fulfilling, and I foster active listening skills I can apply in my future endeavours.”
