NHS Digital to collect patient data and medical records from 1st September
From 1st September 2021, NHS Digital will begin collecting patient data and medical records from GP Practices in England. To find information on what data will be collected and what it will be used for, please visit NHS Digital website. Patients who wish to opt out can find out how to do so via the NHS Digital website National data opt-out page.

Originally planned to begin on 1st July, the start of the data collection has now been deferred until 1st September.
