Abraham Cowley Unit – October 2018

The Enter and View visit was recommended by the Healthwatch Surrey Escalations Panel, following a small number of experiences that we heard about the service, which on some occasions resulted in safeguarding alerts being raised. The Escalations Panel recommended that we carry out an Enter and View visit to:

• Hear the views and experiences of residents and visitors in relation to their experiences of Abraham Cowley Unit at the time they were accessing the service
• Observe residents and visitors engaging with staff and their surroundings
• Identify areas to learn from.
