SECAmb – Keeping patients safe in the stack – Focus group – 6 December 2023

SECAmb (South East Coast Ambulance) Service Foundation Trust are running a second focus group to support the Quality Improvement group KPSitS. The feedback from our first focus group helped us to identify some areas of improvement which include the below:

• Automating the closure of duplicate calls (High Impact, Hard to Implement)
• New Script for Categories 3 and 4 calls, advising ETA for these calls (High Impact, Easy to Implement)
• Interim Care Advice via Text message (High Impact, Hard to Implement)
• Automated interactive voice message for landlines (High Impact, Easy to Implement)

They now want to hold another group to discuss 2 of these improvements in order to to gain input from the people these actions will impact.
