Information and advice about care and support

Local people should be able to access information and advice about care and support, understand what options and services are available and know how to access them. This is a legal requirement and organisations working in the health and social care environment have a duty to provide a universal information and advice service, ensuring residents have a good experience of receiving information and advice, wherever they turn to for help. This include NHS organisations, local and county councils, charities and care providers.
