The Needs of and Support for Young People Who are in Care or Have Been in Care

Surrey County Council intends to introduce a new service delivery model to support children and young people who are in care or at risk of transitioning into care without intervention.
To assess the suitability of the model, The Children, Families, Lifelong Learning and Culture Select Committee has established a Task Group, which is conducting a survey to hear the views of looked-after children and care leavers and the people and organisations who support them.
Common themes from responses will be used to assess and develop the model in order to achieve the best outcome for Surrey residents.
